The Ars Musica Chicago season opens with the first of two concerts celebrating the works of the visionary Italian Baroque violinist and composer Arcangelo Corelli. Corelli’s Opus 5 sonatas were published in Rome on January 1, 1700, and came to profoundly influence violin playing and compositional styles in the 18th century and beyond.
Free admission; no tickets are required, but donations will be gratefully accepted at the door.
